Bean

Beans are a very healthy and nutritious product. In many countries of the world, dishes are prepared from different types of beans, including red beans. America is considered the birthplace of red beans. Later, this plant became widespread in Europe and Asia. The Latin name of the bean is "Phaselos" or the Greek word "Phasedos", meaning boat (its fruit resembles a boat in shape).

Widely distributed in tropical and subtropical latitudes of the globe. The genus of the legume family includes 230 species. Of these, 17 species are the most common.
